Rossana Cesaretti, in art “Roxy Deva“, lives and works in Rome.

She studied “painting” at the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome, specializing in “Graphic Techniques” in 1998 with a thesis titled “Multimedia in Contemporary Arts”.

Loving the new media and their interactions with art and communication, she’s continuing to deepen her technical skills, applying them to a new visual language.

She has been working first as graphic designer, then as a motion designer and a 3D generalist in the Entertainment industry: from printing (@Play Press Publishing) to videogames (@Ubisoft Entertainment. Italy, France, China) and Tv (Vi.So).

In the further years she has been a production supervisor (@Clonwerk) managing the workflow of graphic teams in live and streaming events (Italy, UK, France, UAE, Oman, Turkmenistan). Recently she went back to videogames (Forge Studios).

In her artistic production she combines the experiences got along her professional career and through the continuous updating.

Mixing graphics, digital painting, fractals and drawing, Roxy Deva elaborates a new personal language which leaves an “imprint” of reality. Her subjects are traces or memories, which belongs more to an emotional kind of reality instead of phisical, as a result of self-analysis in human experience.
